Grandpa and Grandma's visit

My Grandpa Jolley and his wife, Grandma Pat, came to visit for a few days. We went on a nice drive around Sahuaro National Park so Pat could see all the cacti she'd never seen before. We also went out to the San Xavier Mission. I think it was built around the 1600s and has been undergoing restoration and upkeep pretty much since then.

Rachel liked the statues of various saints because they were just her size. I think they're there for praying to, not hugging, but since we're not really the pray to statues kind of people, she went for the hug.

We had a real fun time and we're glad they came to visit! Unfortunately their visit ended on a down note with Mom in the hospital, but at least they were around to help out with Rachel when we needed that, and were able to visit Mom in the hospital before they had to go back home.
