This is my regularly scheduled oops-I-haven't-blogged-for-too-long-and-have-lots-of-pictures-to-post post. Lots of randomness from our fun-filled days.
Rachel loves her dress up clothes. I thought this was a particularly creative outfit. Princess dress, veil, and short-hair wig on top of the veil.
Annie loves to climb, and this box was just calling her name. I took her down 3 times before giving up because I realized that on the box was where she was meant to be. She was so happy on top of those gluten-free oats.We went to the zoo with some friends to see the new lion cubs. They were really cute, pouncing on each other, and wrestling with their mom and everything. Annie sounded like a monkey, she was so excited to see them running around. And here's the obligatory picture on the elephant.
One of the new favorite games is gather all the pillows in the house and jump on them and roll all over on the pile.
Rachel and Annie LOVE it!
Painting: another of Rachel's favorite activities (especially when her scizzors are in timeout AGAIN for cutting another lock of hair off).
The cute baby:

Not only does Annie like climbing onto boxes, but climbing into boxes is just as fun, apparently.
And last, but not least, our little walker has been really walking, for a few weeks now. Not just taking a handful of steps from the couch to Rachel, or from one object to another that will catch her, but actually walking wherever she wants to go. Here's a video of her walking in circles. I think this was the first time she was wearing socks on our tile floor (really no one needs socks until November usually around here, but there were a fluke couple of days when it only got up to 70 recently--yeah, cold!). She must have enjoyed how her feet turned so easily with the socks on or something. Also, enjoy her "singing" which is what she does when she's really extra happy walking around. :)
Also, notice how at the end Rachel is acting like she's a baby? Yeah, she does that all the time now. It kind of gets on my nerves after a while. But there is one good thing that comes from it. If she's still a baby at bedtime, she wants to go to bed when Annie does (though usually doesn't actually get to bed until a half hour later), and she follows Annie's bedtime routine, which is much shorter than Rachel's: short board book story, one song and to bed without any fighting. :)

1. I think I recognize that wig. Do I?
2. Your girls are so cute and getting so big!
3. Awesome hair job. You need to come here and teach me how to do awesome things like that.
Yes, Wendi, that wig is famous. At least in some circles. :)
