It's a boy!

We had our ultrasound about a month ago and I'm finally getting around to scanning the pictures and posting about it. The doctor's office had recently gotten a new machine that not only does regular ultrasound pictures, but also does 3-D pictures which are really cool, even if they do look slightly like an unfinished kind of creepy clay sculpture sometimes. The doctor was still getting used to the machine and was having a good time experimenting with all the different functions, so I got about a half-hour long ultrasound with probably 15 or 20 printouts of still shots.
Rachel has been convinced all along that the baby would be a boy, so we took her with us to find out, figuring she'd be happy if it did turn out to be a boy, and if it was a girl she would accept it coming from a doctor more than from us. Luckily it is a boy. Very obviously. The 3-D imagery is so clear that it would be rather inappropriate to post the pictures. Besides, I'm pretty sure the little guy would kill us when he was about 15 and realized pre-birth naked pictures were floating around out on the internet. Rachel was (and still is) very excited to be having a little brother.
And now, without further ado, here are a few of the pictures:
Yes, he's a nose-picker already. Can't wait until he starts wiping it on his sisters...
A nice profile shot in 2-D.
We're excited to meet this little guy in a few months. Now we just have to figure out what to call him....

His name is George, isn't it? What else would you name him?
