YW camp

YW camp was a lot of fun. Rachel, Annie, McKenzie, my mom, and I all got to go this year, so it was pretty cool to all get to experience that together this year.
There were some cool team building activities:
The wards each prepared a lip sync. Our ward did "I've Got a Dream" from Tangled.
The stake did "Dig a Little Deeper" with these awesome costumes I got out of the PTA Party City donation.

They had lots of fun doing the various rotations, though I was stuck helping with paracord bracelets, so I didn't get to see much of them. Tomahawk throwing is often a favorite. And shooting Air Soft rifles and archery. Annie is toward the back of this group doing archery:

This camp was very heavily planned by YCLs. There was literally just us 6 stake leaders helping with the planning, and the ward camp directors pulled into it towards the end, too:

Everyone had a great time!
That same night there was a going away party for Janeth Perez, a counselor in the YW presidency, who was moving to Mexico. She was Megan's preschool teacher, so I took Megan along to the party to play and say good luck. We snapped one last picture with our presidency before Janeth headed off.
