Fall Break-Tucson portion

High school only has 2 weeks of fall break, unlike the younger kids that have 3 weeks. We headed to Utah for the 2nd week of fall break, but did some fun things while we were in Tucson before and after our trip.

Megan was invited to her friend, Emma's, birthday party at Defy. It was on a Saturday afternoon and I knew the kids would beg to go to a trampoline park over break one way or another, so this seemed like an opportune time. We took all the kids and Megan hung out with her party friends while the rest of us hung out together.

While Megan had cake and presents we headed down the road for dinner at In 'n Out.

The girls in primary activities made some fun bottle rockets.
We headed to Golf 'N Stuff with Grandma one morning for a round of mini golf. Afterwards we headed to Frost for some tasty gelato.
Annie and Grandma got together and made homemade ice cream, too. It turned out super tasty, like always.

Megan earned a free meal at BJs because she did so well on her benchmarks and I told her I'd take her over break. The last day of break she reminded me that I hadn't taken her yet, so we squeezed it in.

I can't remember it all, but I'm sure we did several other things over break, including playing at the park, cleaning bedrooms and sorting through clothes, and some major clean up, as well as some Make a Difference Day prep on my part.
