Wednesday we went to BYU for lunch, bowling and some exploration at the Eyring Science Center. Cari won at bowling. At the science center they had fun with the different displays and experiments. There was a dish on each end of the atrium and you could talk quietly into it and be heard all the way across the room at the other dish. They looked the air cannon, too.

Fun with cousins.
Ryan and Megan were popular with Anya and Rosie for giving them piggy back and horsie rides. Wednesday night we went to the Provo Rec Center with Mark’s clan to swim, and the kids had a blast. They had fun climbing the rock wall, jumping off the high dive, and especially as the night got later and the crowd thinned, going down the slides without having to wait. They had fun supervising the youngest cousins, too. Sometimes it’s just good to have an excuse to play on the little kids play set.
Friday Jacob and I managed to go do a session at the Orem temple. It was beautiful and I loved the cherry blossom motif throughout. For lunch we went out to Tucanos, the kids’ favorite place to eat every time we go to Provo.
Friday afternoon/evening we celebrated the March birthdays. The Nephi cousins came up in their new car that is almost our car’s twin. Bevy and Ryan turn 12 this month and Heidi and Annette both have birthdays, too. Pizza and cake was delicious.
When the festivities died down and we headed back to Cari and Sharon’s apartment, there was a blocked off street and lights flashing. Apparently there was a fire in a building nearby. There were at least 3 engines there to fight it. When we drove by the next morning, the building was still standing, but we could see the holes in the roof where we had seen the flames blowing out the night before.
Saturday we got some family photos with Grandpa Campbell. I also snagged several stealth photos throughout the week of the angels that are helping Grandpa Campbell out, Grandma Campbell most of all. I didn’t manage to get a picture of Cari, though. Sharon and Cari help every day, and Mark and Jesse are also called on often to help out, and Grace is a hired helper who has become family and helps nearly every day. We’re grateful for all they do since we can’t do much, being so far away.
Saturday we celebrated pi day (a couple of days late) with chicken pot pie for dinner and a MILLION dessert pies. So delicious.
We finally finished a super hard puzzle by the end of the night, but it took a lot of people pitching in. The cousins had so much fun together. Megan really didn’t want to come home at the end of the week. She and Miri always have so much fun together, plus, playing with the little kids is always a highlight.
All the kids in our family took turns being the star of the show for the little ones. Wes loved Megan (and the clock). Brayden and Rosie followed Ryan around. Anya made her rounds, and Rosie loved boating Megan and Annie around.
Rachel had Brayden and Rosie and her lap Saturday night and Brayden started taking her bracelets, so Rosie defended her: “Those aren’t yours! You better give those back to her or she’s going to be sad and I’m going to be mad!”
Brayden: “It’s ok, honey.” (Lisa calls Break honey a lot so Brayden has picked up the habit—it’s super cute.)
Rosie: “My name is NOT Honey, it’s Rosie!”
… (Brayden still has a few of Rachel’s bracelets)
Rosie: “Don’t make me count to ONE!”
It was so funny!!
