February YW fun

With Rachel in Young Women now, it's double the fun when we do exciting youth activities because she gets to come along, too. In February we got to go caving with all the Young Women and Young Men. We split into groups with two adults per group and I got to go with Rachel and a lot of her friends.
Pictures inside didn't work so well since it was so dark, but everyone had a lot of fun.

The girls got to do some exploring down to the lake in Peppersauce Cave, then went down the rabbit hole, which I sat out. I've been there before, and the tight super skinny passage is not my favorite.

Afterwards the kids played while we all gathered before heading down the road to a campsite for lunch.
Also in February we had a combined YW activity where we did some speed friendshipping, along with a few other get to know you games.
We have a really wonderful group of YW, and with the addition of the 11 year olds that will turn 12 this year, the number of YW increased by 50%. We got more than 10 new beehives.

The following week we had a combined YM/YW activity based on the Amazing Race.
There were lots of fun competitions and activities. The activities the beehives plan always are super fun.
