Annie is a teenager! She turned 13 in October. With all the activities of October, including marching band, trunk or treats, church activities, etc, Annie had a hard time figuring out a time for a party, but ended up having her friends come over on Saturday before the ward trunk or treat. They watched movies, hung out, ate pizza, played games, and had a good time.
On her actual birthday we had Grandma and Grandpa come for Sunday dinner and she opened her presents from us, hung on her "birthday tree" aka her new hat rack to store her growing hat collection.
Annie sure is a fun teen to have around. She's super responsible, most days being the only one who actually does any chores, and always sensitive to people's feelings. She's the first to jump up to help when I'm feeling frustrated, and is always willing to pitch in with dinner. Every night she makes sure to tell us "Good night! Love you! See you in the morning!" about 5 times.
She's done such a good job with her school work, always staying on top of homework and studying, and is a favorite of many of her teachers. She's got a super awesome group of friends and they're good influences on each other and have lots of fun together. Happy birthday, Annie!
