Megan

Here are a few pictures of Megan this semester, to highlight a few things she's been doing.

Megan started visiting a counselor, Melinda, to get some help working through her emotions. She loves Melinda and looks forward to visiting her every week (or every other week now, to help make our schedule a little less frantic). Over fall break we headed in a little early to stop by the mall for a mommy-daughter date and had fun walking around, being silly, and getting ice cream.

During fundraising season Megan lucked out and won a slushie maker during the fundraiser. She was shocked when we came in to deliver it. (Bad picture because of backlighting)
We got tickets to see the comedian Nate Bargatze, but it happened to be the same night as the National Elementary Honor Society induction for Megan. I asked Kristi Mooney to take Megan and be her substitute mom, and she was more than happy to.
Since we weren't there, lots of friends stepped in to help celebrate, and sent me pictures afterwards. We're grateful for our village.

Annie had gone along as family support, and afterwards Adrian invited them all to pile in to her car so they could go out to ice cream together.
At primary activities they made peg dolls that connected to scripture stories, and Megan came home ready to do more, so she used her own money to order a bunch of peg dolls. She spent a lot of the time watching general conference making a ton of peg dolls.
