The kids got right to work playing and digging in the dirt.
The boys watched the fire and Andrew cooked the food.
Ryan quickly finished dinner and went off to explore. But didn't get any farther than the firepit. He got nice and blackened.
Cucumber and mustard. Mmmm... ?
After dinner Lena managed to get super dirty.
Lucky for her there was a river nearby.
Cari managed to clear off the "Campbell rock" enough for us to take a family picture (minus Lisa who was much missed up in Rexburg).
We all scurried home to make it to the church in time for Campbell family gathering. A cousin, Landon (I think), played some beautiful music on his violin. I didn't hear his background, but he had apparently played recently in Carnegie Hall, so he's pretty good. Then Mark played several pieces on the organ. Mark is in a graduate program with the organ, and is also pretty darn good. I enjoyed it as much as I could taking turns chasing our disruptive children out in the hall.
I took Ryan home to go to bed, while Jacob stayed with the other kids. They apparently had plenty of fun running around while the adults visited afterwards.
Uncle Jesse competed very successfully for top uncle honors.
