Vacation-Tuesday morning

Tuesday morning before it got too hot we went on a walk up the Provo River Trail. It was really pretty and reminded me of my BYU days when I would go biking on that trail. We walked as far as a park, and the kids (and adults) were happy to find the sprinklers on to cool us off a little, since it was already getting hot. The kids had some fun on the playground for a while before heading back.

Grandpa met us at the park, and rescued sleepy Ryan who was ready for a nap, and Annie who just wanted to go back to the house and kept telling us about it starting about 5 minutes after we left on the walk. Jacob drove home with them
The park also had some ducks to hold the kids' attention.
Of course they came to check us out, but as soon as they realized we hadn't brought them any food they went back to the safety of the pond.
We enjoyed a nice walk back home, where everyone had some quiet time for a little while. That afternoon we headed up Provo Canyon to Upper Bridal Veil Falls for a picnic.
